From the void emanates the child

Documented during three years of research around the different biomes housing our planet, “From the void emanates the child” is an organic fiction articulated around the movement of natural patterns and their environment, as well as their interactions in an era of considerable geological changes. Evolving between strata, plants, and other natural elements, each work wants to appear as a biome synthesis which calls for a haptic gaze. “ From the void emanates the child” aims to look at the creations and mutations of our ecosystems entering the Anthropocene era.

Pierre Moulin is a french multidisciplinary artist, who questioning our behavior toward existence and environmental changes through a disenchanted vision filled with solastalgia. Having attended the school of Fine Arts in Paris-Cergy and GOBELINS, his work based on research in biology and geology leads to discovering organic fiction representing mutant, wild, and romantic natural spaces.

Through diverse mediums such as augmented and virtual reality as well as 3D design, Pierre Moulin uses emerging technologies to transport us in his metaphysical biomes.
